This year, we celebrated Children’s Day with a heartfelt ceremony at the School Assembly Area. While the day was simple, it was filled with meaningful moments of gratitude and recognition.
The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the spirit of knowledge and positivity, followed by a soulful prayer led by Coordinator Rev. Fr. Sanjok Rai.

A special highlight of the day was the recognition of the Brains of SRS — our brightest and most dedicated students. Certificates and prizes were awarded to those who demonstrated exceptional Academic Excellence throughout the year 2023. The KARATE KIDS won the 3rd Indo-Nepal Karate Championship at Kalimpong on 21st and 22nd September. The boys amassed a total of 20 medals in various categories and events. Coached and managed by Sensei Mani Kumar Mukhia, St. Robert's was also adjudged the Best Team of the Competition.
ST. ROBERT CHALLENGE SHIELD FINAL was held on 3rd October, 2024.
Guest of Honour: BRIJESH GIRI, National Team Footballer, currently member of the Mohun Bagan squad.
Game 1 (3rd Place Play-Off): ST. JOSEPH'S, MUNGPOO defeated SIKSHA SANGH SCHOOL, LEBONG by a 1-0 score line to win the BRONZE.
Game 2 (Final): ST. ROBERT'S YELLOW defeated SHANTIRANI SCHOOL, SONADA 5-4 by virtue of a Tie-Breaker after a goalless encounter.

The School, represented by a Team of 6 boys, participated at the Inter-School Debate and Quiz Competition held by the Darjeeling District Co-operative Bank at Kumdini Homes, Kalimpong.
We are happy to announce that NIKHIL & BISWADEEP won the Debate, and RAJA BABU PRASAD won the Quiz.
They will represent the GTA area at the State-level Competition to be held at Kolkata later this year.
